Job Description

Primary focus will be to manage and coordinate all aspects of the relocation of expats and their families into Japan.

Primary responsibilities include:
  • Understanding and assessing expat needs and requirements
  • Coordinating all aspects of the relocation program in Japan
  • Managing communication and reporting with global relocation and multi-national companies throughout the relocation process
  • Establishing and building client relationships
Qualifications/Preferred Skills
  • Relocation or real estate industry experience preferred
  • Business level Japanese - Proficiency Test Level 2 or higher (CIR experience preferred)/ Business level English - TOEIC 860 or higher
  • Fluency in another foreign language advantageous
  • At least two years work experience in a Japanese office environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Bright, outgoing, friendly personality
  • Highly organized with strong multi-tasking skills
  • Proactive problem solver
  • Ability to work as part of an international team
  • Tokyo local area knowledge preferred
  • Intermediate computer skills - Word, Excel, Microsoft Outlook
  • Japanese Drivers License
Job Conditions
  • Visa sponsorship available
  • Full time position (9am - 6pm, Monday - Friday)
  • Salary commensurate with skills and experience

Local Area Consultant (LAC)

Job Description

Accompany clients for the following services as required;

@

  • Property viewings with agent on the homefinding tour

  • International school appointments

  • Area orientation (introduce supermarkets, banks, hospitals/clinics, post office etc.)

  • Application for Alien Registration Card at local Ward/City Office

  • Application for Re-entry Permit at Immigration Office

  • Opening of bank account and credit card application

  • Assistance with obtaining a mobile phone

Qualifications/Preferred Skills
  • Flexible schedule
  • At least 2 years experience living in Japan
  • Proficient in daily communication in both English and Japanese
  • Fluency in another foreign language advantageous
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Bright, outgoing, friendly personality
  • Tokyo local area knowledge preferred
