Shinjuku is the busiest station in all of Japan with some 7 million people passing through it each day. The area constantly has a crowded feel to it with an abundance of office buildings, department stores and hotels. Housing is generally not available in the heart of the distrcit and as such most people choose to live in areas allowing a convenient commute such as Yoyogi Uehara and Roppongi.
